Namaste and KuzuZangpo la Everyone,

My name is Hemant, I want to thank you for making the choice to come on this program. Our hope is that this trip will challenge you to step outside your comfort zone in a big way, and if you embrace it, you are likely to have a most profound learning encounter. I will be joining you folks on your upcoming exciting and breathtaking journey to Himalayan regions of Bhutan & Nepal. I have the great privilege of being one of your instructors for this wonderful journey to discover incredible Bhutan & Nepal.

You can expect to be inspired, challenged, intrigued, confused, delighted, and much more. We will hear different languages, observe different religions, and meet people with different values and belief systems. This is a tremendous opportunity to open yourself to a new and unfamiliar tradition! As we travel through Bhutan & Nepal, it’s good to keep an open mind and heart. Ask questions, release expectations, and know that this will be a transformative experience for all of us—including Dragons instructors!

A little about myself, I was born and grew up on the sacred bank of the River Ganges (Ganga-ji) in Varanasi, India. I moved to an orphanage/Ashram (home for kids) where I met my spiritual teacher. There I was initiated, learned and served at that orphanage for 5 years. Having done my Bachelor’s and Master’s I moved back to Varanasi where I came in contact with Dragons and have been working with Dragons since 2011.

I am thrilled to have an awesome Instructors like Tsering-ji & Vincent-ji on this sacred trail having Christy-ji & Uttara-ji as an incredible program director team.

Please feel free to reach out, if you have any questions and concerns through yak board or email me ([email protected]). I am so excited that we will be embarking on this very special journey together.

Peace and Love

Hemant Kumar
