Hello!! :)

Hi Everyone!

I’m Anja (anne-yuh?). I am creative, ambiverted, practical and curious. My experience of moving back and forth between England and America growing up helped to guide me in realising the values that I find most important in life, and where my true interests lie. This course seems to be an epic mash up of these things so I am so excited for all of the experiences of the next 3 months.

I can’t wait to spend longer stints in the wilderness and really develop my skills outside. I love speaking Spanish and the links that you can make with other people and cultures when you can communicate in other languages, so I can’t wait to keep learning. Independent study is also a big reason why I chose this semester. I’m looking forward to seeing the fascinating things that we all dig into and share 🙂

I adore geology so for me, mountains are fascinating and exciting not only because of the things that you can do in them, but also because of science! Also, as an “artist” I just really love the quality of light and shapes in mountains and I am always mind blown by how beautiful they are. I guess my fascination for their history and artistry makes being in them all the more magical!

Cannot wait to meet you all 🙂

Anja x
