For the past few days of orientation, our group has been spending time together and working towards our purpose and meaningful interaction with Nepal. Our time in Bhaktapur has been marked by fun activities, drinking lots of Nepali milk tea, and different moments of group bonding.
Today, we went to Bhaktapur Durbar square where students participated in a scavenger hunt. The activity allowed them to navigate around the streets of Bhaktapur and interact with locals about its history and culture.
Tomorrow, we are starting a three-day trek around Kathmandu valley and we are very excited to get out and immerse in the landscape. We will be posting more photos and stories from the field, so please follow our yak board for recent updates.
