Dear A&A-B friends and families,
We have been receiving regular satellite updates from group, who are currently completing the final day of their first trek in the Cordillera Real range outside of La Paz. After traversing the base of Huayna Potosí, a 20,000 foot sacred peak, the group dropped briefly into the sub-tropical Yungas region where the landscape become alive with lush greenery. Currently the group is ascending again into misty glaciers towards their destination at La Cumbre. Instructors report that the group is wet from frequent rain but in good spirits! This afternoon they will drop down again into the Yungas region to rest and re-group after the trek.
Amazing photos and student updates coming soon!
