Urubamba

Hola! We are currently in Urubamba, Peru doing a scavenger hunt. We have had the opportunity to try guinnea pig, which is a local food. We did not want to eat it. The mountains are beautiful. They are called apus, or sacred mountains that protect the region and mother earth. This is very important to the people here and something we look forward to learning more about. Orientation is going really well and we are really enjoying our time in the Sacred Valley.
