Airport Arrival Information and Shuttle

Dear Colorado River Basin Students,
Wow, just a few more days before we’re all together in Boulder! I’m writing to let you all know the plan for your arrival at Denver International Airport and the shuttle runs we will be doing to get you to Boulder. We will have two shuttles being driven by me, your Program Director, and Reed Harwood, our Executive Director.
When you collect your bags please make your way to the open-air terrace at the Westin Hotel that is attached to the airport. This is the big bluish green glass building on the South end of the airport. Reed and I will be waiting outside wearing our Dragons shirts. The first shuttle will leave the airport to go to Boulder around noon and the second shuttle will leave at 2pm or until the last students have arrived.
You will have had a long day of travel in public spaces so please make sure you are taking the appropriate precautions while traveling. When you meet the group please make sure you are wearing a mask and maintaining 6 feet of distance. The car ride back to Boulder will mean we will have to be a bit closer so we will be wearing our masks in the vehicle with the windows down for airflow. Thank you for helping get this course started off right by taking COVID precautions seriously.
Thanks everyone and see you shortly!
