Waterfall Hike and Spontaneous Wedding

Today the Senegal group hiked to the waterfall of Dindefelo, a hidden cascade that is the historical source of water for the surrounding villages and also habitat to the area’s resident chimpanzees. In the evening, the Dragons students scored an invite to a traditional Pulaar wedding and had fun dancing the night away with our new friends in the village! The group has decided to add a day to their trek, and will be staying in Kedougou region one more day before heading to Kolda Region on Monday (to get ready to move into village homestays).
